Paul Pogba heaped praises on his compatriot Raphaël Varane, saying he’s bring a lot of experiences and everyone at Manchester United can learn from him.
The Red Devils signed the decorated central defender Raphaël Varane from Real Madrid for a fee around $56 million on a four-year contract. Varane was unveiled as a Manchester United player in front of a packed old Trafford during their season opener against Leeds United, which the host won 5-1. Varane was an unused substitute during the Red Devils visit to St Mary’s last weekend that ended in a 1-1 draw.
As Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side prepares to head to West Midlands to take on wolves this weekend, Varane is expected to make his first appearance for them.
Pogba and Varane are teammates at the France national team, and now the duo is set to form a new relationship with Manchester United.
Ahead of the wolves fixture, Paul Pogba was asked if he has helped his French Teammate settle in old Trafford.
“I think he doesn’t need me to settle in, he just settles in by himself. He’s someone very mature, a very good guy, I think you can see he’s very good with everyone already. He’s really good in Changing room, which is very important in football. He’s a top Man, a top player and brings his experience, his quality and personality even outside the pitch, to help the team.” Pogba told Manchester United official website.
