Antonio Rudiger is ‘happy’ at Chelsea, but both Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are interested in a potential deal for the defender on a free transfer.
Rudiger has entered the final season of his contract at Stamford Bridge and is yet to agree terms on an extension, with the centre-back able to negotiate with foreign sides over a pre-contract agreement from January.
The Germany international has played a prominent role since the arrival of Thomas Tuchel as manager, having fallen out of favour under predecessor Frank Lampard last season.
Chelsea have opened talks over a new contract for the 28-year-old and Goal are reporting that Rudiger is happy to remain in west London as long as his demands are met.
Rudiger is aware that this latest deal will likely be the last major contract of his career and the defender will have options should he not renew, with both PSG and Real Madrid monitoring his situation.
PSG utilised the free-agent market in some style last summer with the Bosman arrivals of Lionel Messi, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Sergio Ramos and Georginio Wijnaldum, and could look to make Rudiger their next addition.
Real Madrid are also said to be in the market for defensive reinforcements having allowed both Ramos and Raphael Varane to leave the club during the summer transfer window, with Goal reporting that Los Blancos would also be interested in the German defender.
