Van de Beek agent ‘working hard’ to secure January exit for Man Utd outcast

Donny van de Beek’s agent is reportedly ‘working hard’ to secure the midfielder a January exit from Manchester United.

Van de Beek’s career has stagnated since a £40m move to the Red Devils from Ajax in 2020, starting just four Premier League fixtures last season and struggling to win favour with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer despite reportedly being handed assurances over his playing time.

The Netherlands international has featured for just five minutes in the Premier League this season, whilst he was visibly frustrated after being an unused substitute during the 2-1 win over Villarreal on September 29.

Calciomercato, as per the Mirror, are reporting that the player’s agent is now keen to secure his client a move away from the club during the January transfer window, with Italian trio Juventus, AC Milan and Inter Milan having all been credited with an interest in his services.

The report suggests that Juventus could try to utilise Van de Beek’s relationship with former Ajax teammate Matthijs De Ligt in order to beat off the competition from their rivals.

Everton saw a deadline day loan move for the 24-year-old rejected during the summer and could return with renewed interest for the Dutchman, though United will want to recoup a significant fee before allowing the midfielder to leave on a permanent basis.
