Bellingham ‘not considering’ leaving Dortmund amid Liverpool and Man Utd links

Jude Bellingham is ‘not considering’ leaving Borussia Dortmund amid transfer links to Liverpool and Manchester United.

Bellingham has emerged as one of Europe’s most talented young players since signing for Dortmund from Birmingham City, the midfielder having broken into the England senior side and established himself as a key figure at club level at the Westfalenstadion.

The 18-year-old has began the new season in fine form with three goals and six assists for Dortmund, his performances having not gone unnoticed by Premier League sides.

SportBild are reporting that Bellingham is ‘not considering’ leaving the Bundesliga outfit in the near future, however, with the teenager content with both his prospects of regular football and silverware with Dortmund at present.

Dortmund are desperate to keep hold of the midfielder and have also made moves to sign Bellingham’s younger brother, Jobe, from the Birmingham academy system.

Dortmund are expected to receive significant interest from Europe’s elite in Erling Haaland next summer as a release clause becomes active in the forward’s contract, with the German side reluctant to lose both Haaland and Bellingham in the same window.

Bellingham is in no rush to leave an environment where he is currently flourishing and improving and interested Premier League sides will need to take a patient approach to their pursuits.
