Manchester United star Christiano Ronaldo remarked that his rivalry with PSG’s Lionel Messi has inspired him to improve as a player.

Speaking to Portuguese network TVI (h/t RMC Sport via Goal), Ronaldo discussed his relationship with the Argentinian whom he has faced throughout his career.

The Portugal international professed his admiration for Lionel Messi.

“I admire his accomplishment thus far and he has indicated that leaving the Spanish league caused him troubles because he enjoys the rivalry.
