United legend Paul Scholes sends clear Jadon Sancho message to next Man Utd manager

Jadon Sancho opened his account for Man Utd after experiencing a difficult start at the club and Paul Scholes has called for the winger to enjoy consistent run of games as a starter.

Paul Scholes has told the next Manchester United manager to come that Sancho needs to be utilised far more regularly.

The winger made a big Money move from Borussia Dortmund, but has struggled to settle back in England.

His struggle for consistency left him out of the XI under Ole Gunner Solskjaers, sometimes not even making it off the bench.

When the Norwegian was sacked, Jadon Sancho was yet to register a goal or assist.

In the first match under Michael Carrick however, the England international scored his first Goal during the 2-0 win over Villarreal.

Scholes now believes that the key to getting the best out of the former Bundesliga star will be allowing him a consistent run of games–and in the right position.

He said on BT Sport: “I think he was Manchester United best player tonight they need to use him more.

“Playing in this team is a little bit different because he doesn’t have a flying full-back that he had at Dortmund, because he’s not a flying machine himself.

“But he wants to be playing further forward, he’s such a clever footballer.”

“He’s a player who wants to play in a possession game but he won’t get that a lot in the big games like on Sunday and he needs to adjust his game a bit more of a counter-attacking player.

“He looks like the player we signed £70 odd million”.
