As we reach the end of 2021 we’ve decided to look at some of the best Premier League stats from the calendar year, including the most productive players in English football’s top division.
Here are the seven players with the most goals and assists in 2021.
Jamie Vardy – 19 (13 goals, six assists)
Jamie Vardy continues to be a reliable source of goals for Leicester even into the latter stages of his career, having scored 13 league goals throughout 2021.
The 34-year-old endured a difficult end to the 2020/21 campaign with just four league goals following the turn of the New Year, but has returned to form during the first half of the current campaign.
Vardy ranks joint-second amongst the Premier League’s leading scorers so far this season, having netted nine times in just 15 appearances for Brendan Rodgers’ side.

Despite the summer arrival of Patson Daka and improved form of Kelechi Iheanacho last season, the veteran remains Leicester’s leading source of goals.
Raphinha – 19 (11 goals, eight assists)
Raphinha’s performances have reportedly attracted interest from the Premier League’s leading sides, the winger having enjoyed a stand-out debut campaign for Leeds last season.
The 25-year-old has continued his excellent introduction into English football in 2021/22, scoring seven goals in 15 appearances for Leeds despite their struggle to replicate last season’s performances.

Raphinha is the club’s leading scorer this season and his displays have earned international recognition, scoring twice in five appearances for Brazil since making his debut for the Selecao in October.
Just five players have been more productive in the Premier League in 2021, with Raphinha appearing to get better and better as the creative inspiration of Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
Harry Kane – 20 (15 goals, five assists)
Harry Kane enjoyed a brilliant 2020/21 campaign to finish as both the leading scorer and assist provider in the Premier League, becoming just the third player – after Andy Cole and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink – to finish top of both metrics in a single campaign.
Kane’s Golden Boot-winning season also saw him become just the third player to have won the accolade on three or more occasions, joining Premier League legends in Thierry Henry (4) and Alan Shearer (3) to have achieved the feat.

The England captain has struggled to find his best form during the opening months of the current campaign, however, scoring just one league goal and providing a solitary assist in 13 appearances.
The north Londoners will be hoping the 28-year-old can rediscover his touch around goal in the coming months, as Antonio Conte’s side pursue a top-four finish and Champions League qualification.
Son Heung-Min – 20 (12 goals, eight assists)
Son Heung-Min is level with his Tottenham teammate for goal involvements in 2021, registering 20 goals and assists in the Premier League during the calendar year.
The South Korean has emerged as one of the Premier League’s leading talents in recent seasons, enjoying a best-ever campaign last term to score 17 goals and provide 10 assists, with only Kane and Bruno Fernandes directly involved in more goals.
Son is also Spurs’ leading scorer so far this season after scoring six times in the Premier League, including in each of the club’s past two fixtures against Brentford and Norwich as the north Londoners begin to find form under Antonio Conte.
Bruno Fernandes – 21 (13 goals, eight assists)
Bruno Fernandes ranks third for Premier League goal involvements in 2021, having scored 13 goals and provided eight assists for Manchester United.
Fernandes has enjoyed a remarkable rate of production since signing for the Red Devils from Sporting Lisbon in 2020, registering 53 goals and assists in just 67 league appearances.
The 27-year-old conceded star status at Old Trafford to international teammate Cristiano Ronaldo last summer, though has registered a respectable tally of five goals and three assists this season despite readjusting to his role in the side.
It will be fascinating to see how Ralf Rangnick incorporates the Portuguese duo in the same side as the interim manager oversees United until the end of the campaign.
Michail Antonio – 22 (13 goals, nine assists)
Michail Antonio has outperformed some of the Premier League’s leading names in 2021, with the forward having played a crucial role in West Ham’s Europa League qualification last term and strong start to the new season.
Antonio has scored 13 goals and provided nine assists for the Hammers, thriving as the all-action centre-forward of David Moyes’ improving side.
The 30-year-old scored four goals and provided three assists in his first three appearances of the 2021/22 season and has taken that form into a fledgling international career, after scoring twice in three caps since pledging his allegiance to Jamaica.
Antonio’s numbers have slowed in recent weeks and the forward is without a goal in eight Premier League games, but remains ambitious in his season’s hopes and recently revealed his desire to reach the 20-goal landmark for the campaign.
Mohamed Salah – 34 (23 goals, 11 assists)
Far and away the most productive Premier League player of 2021, the name of Mohamed Salah at the top of this list will surprise few who have watched the Liverpool forward’s stunning campaign so far.
Salah has already amassed 15 goals and nine assists from just 14 games for the Reds this season, an absurd rate of goal involvements and a tally that has taken his total to 34 for the calendar year.
Only Alan Shearer in 1994-95 has registered more before Christmas in a single campaign (25 – 16 goals, 9 assists) and Thierry Henry’s record of 44 for a 38-game season – set in 2002/03 – is well within reach.

Salah leads the league for both goals and assists, as he bids to win both the Premier League’s Golden Boot – a potential third career accolade for the Egyptian – and Playmaker awards this season.
The 29-year-old’s form has fired Liverpool’s title challenge so far this season and his upcoming absence for Africa Cup of Nations duty will be a huge blow to the chances of Jurgen Klopp’s side.
