Real Madrid are preparing a ‘package’ to sign both Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe this summer and the Spanish giants look to sign the superstar duo.
Real are planning a huge summer in the transfer window as Los Blancos look to relaunch their project, with the club’s focus having so far been on signing Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain.
The La Liga side failed with several bids – including one in the region of £137m – for the France international last summer, but will be able to sign Mbappe on a free transfer this summer with the forward out of contract at the Parc des Princes.
Marca, as per the Mirror, are reporting that the Spaniards will also launch a move to sign Haaland, who is set to be at the centre of a transfer tussle between Europe’s leading clubs this summer.
Haaland has a release clause of €75m that will become active in his contract at Borussia Dortmund and Real are understood to be preparing a £292m package – including various fees and wages over a lucrative long-term contract – to bring the Norway international to the Bernabeu.
Haaland has scored 78 goals in just 77 appearances for Dortmund since signing from Red Bull Salzburg and Real are hopeful of securing deals for arguably Europe’s two brightest young talents.
Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United have also all been linked with Haaland, though the latter have reportedly ending their interest in a deal.
