Paris Saint-Germain are preparing a ‘lucrative’ offer to sign Paul Pogba this summer, as the midfielder approaches the end of his contract at Manchester United.
Pogba will become a free agent at the end of the season and remains undecided on his future, with the France international understood to be ready to leave a decision until the end of the season.
Paris Saint-Germain are one of several leading European clubs monitoring the 28-year-old’s situation and the Mail are reporting that the Ligue 1 side are preparing a huge offer to tempt the midfielder back to France.
Pogba has never played a senior fixture in his homeland after leaving for England as a teenager and PSG believe signing the star as a free agent will bring both sporting and commercial benefits.
Real Madrid, Barcelona and former club Juventus have also been linked with his signing and each are set to make approaches to sign Pogba on a free transfer.
Pogba is, however, also understood to be open to the prospect of remaining with Manchester United, with his current focus on returning to form after an extended spell on the sidelines.
Remaining with the Red Devils could hinge on whether the club secure a top-four finish and Champions League football, having lost further ground following a 1-1 draw with Southampton last weekend.
PSG will be hopeful of temping Pogba to the Parc des Princes, however, having successfully secured a series of high-profile Bosman additions in last summer’s transfer window, including Lionel Messi, Sergio Ramos, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Georginio Wijnaldum.
