Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have joined the race to sign Armando Broja from Chelsea, following the forward’s impressive performances on loan at Southampton.
Broja has enjoyed an excellent campaign since signing for the Saints on a season-long loan deal, with the 20-year-old having scored eight goals in all competitions to attract interest from both England and Europe.
The Sun are reporting that Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are the latest sides to have emerged as suitors and the Bundesliga giants have been impressed by the performances of the Albania international this season.
Southampton are keen to extend the forward’s loan or sign Broja on a permanent basis, but Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side now face major competition with the likes of Leeds, West Ham and Arsenal having also been linked with his signature.
Broja signed a new long-term deal with Chelsea before heading to Southampton and could yet force his way into Thomas Tuchel’s plans for next season, with the west Londoners lacking alternatives to Romelu Lukaku at centre-forward.
He spent last season on loan with Vitesse Arnhem and scored 11 goals in all competitions, whilst the Slough-born forward has netted three times in 10 appearances for Albania at international level.
