Raphinha is stalling on signing a new deal at Leeds as he considers a move to a bigger club.
Raphinha has starred for Leeds since his arrival from Rennes in 2020, with the 25-year-old having broken into the Brazil national side following a series of impressive performances at Elland Road.
The winger has scored eight league goals for Marcelo Bielsa’s side this season and has become the club’s leading attacking threat, leading his teammates for shots, key passes and dribbles per game.
Goal are reporting that Raphinha is stalling on signing a new contract with Leeds amid reported interest from several leading sides, with the star having turned down two approaches from the Premier League side to discuss extending his deal that expires in 2024.
Liverpool and Manchester United have previously been linked with the Brazilian, though the former’s interest could have waned following the arrival of Luis Diaz from Porto last month.
United secured the signing of Jadon Sancho last summer in a bid to solve the club’s problem position on the right, but the England international has predominantly featured on the left under Ralf Rangnick where he has recently started to impress, and Raphinha’s arrival would bolster the Red Devils’ options.
Bayern Munich have also been linked, whilst Chelsea were rumoured to be interested in signing Ousmane Dembele during the January transfer window. Tottenham could also be an option, the club keen on landing a forward having missed out on the signings of Adama Traore and Luis Diaz last month.
Arsenal are also expected to enter the market for attacking reinforcements given the lack of depth in the Gunners’ squad at present.
