Football agent Mino Raiola has died at the age of 54 after an illness, according to reports in Italy.
Raiola has been one of the most prominent agents in European football across the past decade, with his list of clientele including high-profile names such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba, and Erling Haaland.
Raiola was born in Italy before emigrating to the Netherlands as a child and since worked his way up to becoming one of the most influential figures in the game.
Gianluigi Donnarumma and Matthijs de Ligt are some of the high-profile stars he has brokered transfers for in recent seasons, whilst his past Premier League clients include Mario Balotelli and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
According to the Metro, his passing comes after a battle with lung disease and Raiola had been admitted to hospital in Milan in January before undergoing surgery.
His condition was not initially reported as life-threatening, though reports emerged from Italian TV station Tg La7 that he had passed away on Thursday.
