Romelu Lukaku is willing to drop his wage demands to seal a return to Inter Milan this summer.
Lukaku is keen to leave Chelsea after a disappointing debut season with the west Londoners, following a £97.5m club record move from Inter Milan.
The Italian side are interested in a deal to bring the Belgium international back to the San Siro and have opened talks with Chelsea over a potential loan deal for the 29-year-old.
Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Lukaku has communicated to Chelsea his desire to return to the Nerazzurri and is willing to reduce his wages in order to facilitate the move and seal an exit from Stamford Bridge.

Lukaku scored just eight league goals for Chelsea last season and proved to be an awkward fit, with Thomas Tuchel often preferring to use Kai Havertz in a false nine role.
The forward previously shone during two seasons in Serie A however, scoring 64 goals in 95 appearances for Inter Milan.
He became the fastest footballer in the club’s history to reach 50 goals in all competitions and was named as Serie A’s Most Valuable Player for his role in Inter’s drought-breaking 2020/21 title success.
