Monaco have set their asking price for Benoit Badiashile amid interest in the defender from clubs across Europe.
Badiashile is the latest exciting young talent to attract interest from the continent, with the 21-year-old centre-back having made 119 appearances for Monaco since graduating from the club’s academy ranks.
Manchester United and Chelsea have both been linked with the France u21 international, but L’Equipe are reporting that Monaco – who are in a strong financial position after the €100m sale of Aurélien Tchouaméni to Real Madrid earlier in the window – will not sanction Badiashile’s sale for less than €50m.
Sevilla are also interested in the defender as the club prepare to lose Jules Kounde, with the Spanish side understood to have offered Youssef En-Nesyri in exchange in a bid to lower the price-tag.
Sevilla have agreed a £55m deal to sell Kounde to Chelsea, while Barcelona are also in pursuit of the 23-year-old who has excelled since making the move from Bordeaux to La Liga.
Barcelona are also understood to have considered a move for Badiashile, while Newcastle, West Ham and Atletico Madrid have tracked his progress.
