Frank Lampard has discussed Chelsea’s interest in Anthony Gordon and Dele Alli’s loan move to Besiktas.
Chelsea are understood to be interested in a deal to sign Gordon before the deadline, with reports this week having suggested the Blues were willing to offer around £60m for the England u21 international.
Lampard, however, has dismissed reports of a bid from Chelsea and says Gordon will be available to him as Everton travel to face Brentford in the Premier League tomorrow.
“No, [a bid] hasn’t come in,” he told his pre-match press conference. “He’s our player so he’s in the squad for tomorrow. He’s a huge player for us
“I said it last week not only is he a big value for the club. If you want to talk financially, but more importantly for me a big value to the squad and the team.
“They haven’t bid £60m.”
Everton this week allowed Dele Alli to leave the club, with the midfielder joining Besiktas on a season-long loan deal with an option to buy. Alli had struggled to make an impact at Everton since joining from Tottenham in January and made just one Premier League start for the club.
Having completed his move to Istanbul on Thursday, Lampard believes it is ‘the right thing’ for the 26-year-old.
“I think it’s the right thing. I think it hasn’t worked out for Dele here for different reasons. And can go there now hopefully, play games, and have success.
“It will help him personally help us and we’ll review it through the year and obviously at the end of the season.”
