Gavi is set to snub interest from the Premier League and Bayern Munich with the midfielder close to signing a new deal at Barcelona.
The teenager’s current contract is set to expire at the end of the season and clubs across Europe have been monitoring his situation at the Camp Nou.
Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City and Bayern Munich have all been credited with an interest in Gavi, who has cemented his place as a key figure at Barcelona since breaking into the senior side last season.
Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Gavi is set to ignore interest from abroad and pen a new deal in Catalonia, one which will include a release clause of €1bn. The deal will be a major boost to Barcelona and their rebuild, with the La Masia graduate having been free to negotiate with foreign clubs from January.
Gavi's new contract with Barcelona will include release clause for €1B, negotiated last December. It's matter of time to get it signed and completed, as revealed last week. 🚨🔵🔴 #FCB

Barcelona are understood to have ‘never been worried’ despite Gavi’s situation with the Catalans confident that the 18-year-old would sign a new deal.
Gavi made 47 appearances in all competitions for Barcelona last season, scoring twice, and has broken into the senior Spain squad. He made his debut for La Roja during a UEFA Nations League fixture with Italy last October and in the process became the youngest ever debutant for Spain.
