Dortmund place €150m valuation on Jude Bellingham

Borussia Dortmund value Jude Bellingham at around €150m (£131.6m) as the club brace for Premier League interest next summer.

Bellingham is expected to be subject of approaches from a number of leading clubs next summer with Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Real Madrid all understood to hold an interest.

It has been reported that Liverpool have already held talks with Dortmund over a deal, though the Bundesliga side have insisted this is not the case. The Reds are expected to push hard for his signature however, with Jurgen Klopp’s team in need of a midfield overhaul next summer.

The Athletic are reporting that Dortmund value Bellingham at €150m (£131.6m), a figure that would make the teenager the most expensive British footballer of all time. There is no release clause in his contract at the Westfalenstadion, allowing Dortmund to demand a record-breaking sum.

Bellingham’s development has accelerated since joining Dortmund from Birmingham for an initial fee of £25million in July 2020. He has made a century of appearances for the Germans and has earned 15 caps for England at senior level.

The 19-year-old made 44 appearances in all competitions last season, in which he scored six goals and provided 14 assists.
