Mauricio Pochettino is set to turn down interest from Nice and wait for a role in another of Europe’s top leagues.
Pochettino is without a club since leaving Paris Saint-Germain during the summer and Nice were keen to offer the Argentine a swift route back into management.
However, the Evening Standard are reporting that the former Spurs boss will turn down the offer and is not interested in taking another role in France.
Pochettino will instead wait for a proposal from the Premier League, La Liga or Serie A, with Juventus an option that would likely interest as the pressure increases on Max Allegri in Turin.
The Italian side have won just two of their opening seven league fixtures and have opened the Champions League’s group stage with back-to-back defeats.
The 50-year-old has also been tentatively linked with Leicester, who are bottom of the Premier League after a difficult start to the season. The Foxes have lost six successive games in a run which has seen Brendan Rodgers’ position come under threat at the King Power Stadium.
