Antonio Conte insists he is ‘enjoying every single moment’ of his reign at Tottenham as speculation continues to surround his future.
Conte will celebrate the first anniversary of his appointment at Spurs next week, but uncertainty surrounds his long-term future with the initial 18-month deal he signed set to expire at the end of the current campaign.
The Italian led Spurs to Champions League qualification last season and the north Londoners are third in the Premier League table at present, following an encouraging start to the season.
Conte has voiced his desire for greater backing from the board however, as he looks to create a team capable of challenging for major honours.
Ahead of this weekend’s trip to face Bournemouth, the 53-year-old reflected on his first year in charge of the club and insisted he is enjoying every moment of his tenure.
“I always say that I am enjoying my time in Tottenham and in one year we had a great path together, with club, players, fans and you [media].” Conte told his pre-match press conference.
“I think I am enjoying every single moment in my adventure in Tottenham.
“For sure I discovered a modern club, a club with a fantastic training ground and an amazing stadium.
“The passion of the fans, at the same time the demands of our fans. The demand is very high. I continue to enjoy every day.”
