Chelsea have been offered the chance to sign Matheus Cunha and Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid, as the club consider signing a centre-forward in January.
Graham Potter’s squad is short of options after Armando Broja was ruled out for the remainder of the season with an ACL injury this week.
Chelsea have agreed a deal to sign Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig next summer, but could look for a short-term solution next month as the club look to provide competition and cover for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Kai Havertz.
According to the Evening Standard, Atletico Madrid have offered the services of Cunha and Felix, each of who have struggled for status in the Spanish capital.
Felix is the club’s record signing, but has started just five league games this season and is keen to leave after a fall-out with Diego Simeone.
The 23-year-old impressed at the World Cup and a loan move could suit all parties across the second half of the season.
Cunha has also struggled for minutes and missed out on a place in Brazil’s World Cup squad after just two La Liga starts across the first half of the campaign. Wolves and Leeds are also interested in a deal to sign the forward.
Another option for Chelsea is Memphis Depay. The Blues considered an approach for Depay last summer and could renew their interest in the winter window.
The Netherlands international has six months remaining on his contract at Barcelona and is free to leave the Camp Nou.
