Manchester United have triggered the extension clauses in the contracts of Marcus Rashford, Luke Shaw, Diogo Dalot and Fred.
Each of the quartet were out of contract at the end of the season and would have been free to negotiate with foreign clubs from January, but the club have activated clauses to extend those deals for a further season.
Rashford’s extension comes after a return to form this season. The forward has scored eight goals in 19 appearances across all competitions since Erik ten Hag’s arrival as manager and scored three times during England’s World Cup campaign in Qatar.
Paris Saint-Germain had expressed an interest in signing the 25-year-old on a free transfer, but United’s activation of his contract clause means Rashford will remain contracted to the club until 2024.
According to The Athletic, United also remain in talks with David de Gea over a new deal. De Gea’s contract is also set to expire next summer, but both the club and player are open to a new contract.
United are seeking to renew De Gea’s contract on a reduced wage and the goalkeeper is understood to be willing to lower his £375,000-a-week salary in order to extend his time at Old Trafford.
The club’s domestic season resumes on Wednesday with a Carabao Cup clash with Burnley, before the Red Devils face Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on December 27.
