Graham Potter as urged Chelsea to be ‘positive’ as they look to turn around their woeful recent form, while describing this weekend’s opponents, Crystal Palace, as a ‘dangerous’ side.
The Blues slipped to a 2-1 loss in their West London derby fixture against Fulham on Thursday night, leaving them with a record of just one win in their last nine Premier League games.
That run has left the Blues down in 10th in the league, 10 points off the Champions League places, and speaking ahead of this weekend’s game against Crystal Palace, Graham Potter said his side need to be ‘positive’ and ‘move forward’.
“We have to recover. We have to recover from the disappointment of the game [against Fulham],” he told the media.
“We have to assess all the players in terms of recovery and injury, whatever we have. Then we have to be positive, move forward and take a home game on.
“It’s another London derby against a team with dangerous players. So we have to be good ourselves and prepare the team.”

The Chelsea boss was asked about Sunday’s opponents, and belives Patrick Vieira possesses a dangerous team.
“I think Patrick has done a fantastic job since he has been there,” he said.
“They’ve always got dangerous players, young players, so they are maybe not as consistent as they would like, but the quality they have – Eze, Olise, Zaha obviously – these are players who can travel with the ball well, can attack, can eliminate you in one-vs-one situations.
“They have improved in the build-up phase of the game, their two centre-backs are good, and they are a competitive and top team.”
