Chelsea are not expected to loan out David Datro Fofana despite interest in the forward from Galatasaray.
Fofana signed for the west Londoners from Molde in a £12m deal during the January transfer window and has since made two substitute appearances for Graham Potter’s side.
The 20-year-old has not been included in Chelsea’s squad for the Champions League’s knockout rounds and has been subject of loan interest from clubs across Europe.
Lorient were linked with a move for the Ivorian last month, while Galatasaray are also understood to have expressed an interest in signing Fofana.
However, Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Chelsea are not currently negotiating with clubs over Fofana and he is expected to remain at Stamford Bridge to continue his development.

Fofana scored 22 goals in all competitions for Molde last season, but faces fierce competition for a place in the Chelsea side with Kai Havertz and Joao Felix among the club’s more experienced options.
Galatasaray are instead pursuing a deal to sign Nicolo Zaniolo from Roma for a fee in the region of €22m. Zaniolo was linked with Tottenham and Bournemouth during the January transfer window, with the Italian having turned down a move to the latter despite an agreement between the clubs.
