Joao Palhinha is a summer transfer target for several Premier League clubs following an impressive debut season at Fulham.
Palhinha has made a major impression since signing for Fulham from Sporting Lisbon last summer, with the midfielder having been a key part of the club’s strong return to the Premier League this season.
The Portugal international leads the Premier League for tackles won this season and his performances are understood to have attracted the interest of rival sides.
According to The Sun, Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham and Newcastle are all monitoring Palhinha ahead of a potential summer move.
Fulham signed the 27-year-old in a deal worth £20m last summer and are under no pressure to sell Palhinha, who has four years remaining on his contract at Craven Cottage.
Marco Silva’s side are said to now value the midfielder at more than double that initial fee, with the Daily Mail reporting that Liverpool are his most serious suitors as Jurgen Klopp looks to overhaul his engine room this summer.
Palhinha is reportedly on a shortlist of transfer targets for Klopp, whose priority signing is believed to be Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham. The club’s recruitment team have also tracked Wolves’ Matheus Nunes and Brighton’s Moises Caicedo.
