Manchester United got their bid for a top-four finish back on track today after they beat Wolves 2-0 at Old Trafford.
Man United started brightly but Erik Ten Hag’s side have been wasteful in front of goal in recent times and one of the regular culprits Antony wasted a brilliant opportunity after just 10 minutes.
Just before the half-hour mark things would get worse for Antony when the Brazilian winger missed a sitter from two yards out, the £90 million man heading a Luke Shaw cross over the bar with the goal at his mercy.
Antony would make up for those misses in the 31st minute though when he found himself one-on-one with the ‘keeper but this time decided to square the ball to Antony Martial, who stroked home into an empty net.
Jadon Sancho and Wout Weghorst missed massive chances to finish the game off during the second half and as the game neared its end nerves were starting to jangle around Old Trafford.
However, in injury-time teenage winger, Alejandro Garnacho latched on to a Bruno Fernandes through ball before finishing clinically past the impressive Daniel Bentley in the Wolves goal.

Today’s win sees United remain in fourth in the Premier League table but they move level on points with third-placed Newcastle with three games left to play, and their top-four hopes are still very much in their own hands.
Speaking afterwards Red Devil’s boss Ten Hag warned today’s win will mean nothing unless his side finish the season in the Champions League places.
“We had a tough week. Three days ago we dropped important points because of individual mistakes but also low energy levels. That can’t be [acceptable]. Today we bounced back,” Ten Hag told BBC’s MOTD.
“Tiredness can never be an excuse. As a Man Utd player you have to deliver. You have to match high standards, give the performance, and take the responsibility as an individual and as a team.
“[Winning today] it means nothing if you are not in the top three or four. We have to fight for that. We have to stay calm, stay focussed and go to the next game. We need to make sure we have the right energy levels so we can fight and make sure we get it over the line.
“In terms of the way we play, I think we have a base. Also in the culture, we have a base. But we know we have to make those next steps for really competing with the top two.”
