Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly met with the representatives of Harry Kane to discuss a potential summer transfer.
Kane has been linked with leaving Tottenham after a difficult season for the north Londoners, who have missed out on Champions League qualification and saw their wait for major silverware extend to 15 years.
The England captain has failed to win a major trophy in his career to date and could push for an exit from Spurs this summer as he enters the final 12 months of his contract at the club.
Manchester United are understood to be interested in signing the 29-year-old but could face competition from PSG, according to Foot Mercato. The French champions are reported to have held discussions with Kane’s representatives to gauge his interest in a move to Ligue 1, as the Parisians look to rebuild their squad ahead of next season.
Lionel Messi will leave PSG at the end of the season and Neymar could also depart the Parc des Princes, with the arrival of an elite number nine high on the list of priorities for sporting director Luis Campos.
PSG are also interested in Victor Osimhen, but the forward’s €150m price tag and Napoli’s reluctance to sell the Nigerian are complicating factors. Osimhen is also said to be unsure about a return to French football after a previous spell at Lille and discussed his ‘dream’ of playing in the Premier League earlier this season.
Kane – who has scored 27 goals in the Premier League this season – could become the focus for PSG, who would look to unite the forward in a new-look forward line alongside Kylian Mbappe.
