Al Nassr are aiming to beat Manchester United to the signing of Andre Onana and have submitted a lucrative offer to the Inter Milan goalkeeper.
Onana is the first-choice target for Manchester United as Erik ten Hag looks to sign a new goalkeeper this summer, but the Red Devils could face competition from The Saudi Pro League with Al Nassr having made an approach for the Cameroon international.
Al Nassr are interested in signing Onana as a replacement for former Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina, who is set to miss a large period of the upcoming campaign through injury.
CBS are reporting that Al Nassr want to reunite Onana with former Inter Milan team-mate Marcelo Brozovic, after completing a deal to sign the Croatian midfielder this week.
The Saudi side have also been linked with a move to sign David de Gea after his contract at Manchester United expired, but consider the Spanish shot-stopper as a back-up option if a deal for Onana can not be completed.
Onana is valued at around €50m at Inter Milan after an outstanding debut season for the Italian side, following his arrival from Ajax last summer.
The 27-year-old led the competition for clean sheets and goals prevented last season as Simone Inzaghi’s side reached the Champions League final.
