Thomas Tuchel has met with Harry Kane at his home in an effort to convince the Tottenham forward to sign for Bayern Munich.
Bayern have seen an opening bid turned down as the Bundesliga champions look to secure a deal for the Spurs striker.
Kane’s future is uncertain after entering the final season of his contract at Spurs and the 29-year-old is considering an exit in search of elusive silverware.
According to BILD, Bayern are preparing an improved offer for Kane and Tuchel has increased his efforts to sign the England captain after travelling to London to hold talks at Kane’s home.
Tuchel is understood to have outlined his plans for Kane to lead the line for Bayern, as the club look to continue their dominance of the Bundesliga and challenge for the Champions League.
The Bavarians won an 11th consecutive league title last season and Kane is interested in the move, having failed to win silverware in his career to date.
Bayern have been active in the transfer market after a disappointing European exit last term. Kane is considered the ideal option to replace Robert Lewandowski’s goals, following the Poland international’s sale to Barcelona last summer.
Bayern have completed deals to sign Raphaƫl Guerreiro and Konrad Laimer from Bundesliga rivals Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig, while the club are closing in on the signing of Napoli centre-back Kim Min-jae.
