Nottingham Forest have made offers to sign Manchester United duo Dean Henderson and Anthony Elanga.
Steve Cooper’s side are keen to re-sign Henderson after a successful loan spell at the City Ground last season and Forest have made an offer to take the England goalkeeper on loan for another campaign.
Henderson’s hopes of first-team football have been blocked following the arrival of Andre Onana at Manchester United and the 26-year-old will be keen to secure a regular role as he looks to make Gareth Southgate’s England squad for next summer’s European Championship.
Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Forest will propose another loan deal for Henderson, a deal which could include an obligation or option to make the move permanent. The goalkeeper is understood to be valued at around £20m at Old Trafford.
Forest are also keen on a deal to sign Elanga and have made a permanent offer for the winger. Elanga is free to leave United after struggling for regular first-team football last season with the 21-year-old making just five starts in the Premier League.
Everton have also been linked with the Sweden international, but are now closing in on a deal to sign Arnaut Danjuma on loan from Villarreal.
