Barcelona are ‘very interested’ in signing Manchester City pair Bernardo Silva and Joao Cancelo in the summer transfer window.
The La Liga club sent a double loan offer to Man City over the weekend, according to Spanish media outlet Sport.
Barcelona have put a ‘priority’ on signing a new right winger and see Cancelo as the ideal candidate to fill the role, while Silva would complete the ‘dream midfield’ for the club.
The report adds that the loan offer to sign Silva includes an obligation to buy the player for €70 million (£60m). The midfielder has long been linked with a move to La Blaugrana.
PSG have also been linked with a move for the 28-year-old, but Man City have ‘rejected’ all proposals from the French outfit.
It is also said that Barcelona have already reached an ‘agreement’ with Cancelo on personal conditions.
The Portugal international has been one of the most attacking and creative wide players in the Premier League since moving to England four years ago. But he fell out of favour with Pep Guardiola last season and spent the second half of the campaign on loan with Bayern Munich.
Barcelona have already signed one City player in the form of Ilkay Gundogan, who joined the Catalan club on a free transfer. The 32-year-old has a contract until June 2025 with an option for a further year.
City moved quickly to shuffle their decks this summer after winning the Treble last season. Riyad Mahrez has moved to the Saudi Pro League, joining Al-Ahli, while Mateo Kovacic and Josko Gvardiol have signed for City from Chelsea and RB Leipzig respectively.
