Sancho to be sold in January without Ten Hag apology

Jadon Sancho will be placed on the transfer list at Manchester United in January, if the winger fails to apologise to manager Erik ten Hag.

Sancho is training away from the first-team squad after a public fallout with Ten Hag, with the 23-year-old having hit back at the Manchester United manager over comments questioning his performance levels in training.

Sancho was dropped from the squad to face Arsenal last month with Ten Hag explaining his absence was down to training performance, a suggestion Sancho refuted with a social media post calling his manager’s comments ‘completely untrue’.

The rift between the pair has failed to be resolved despite Manchester United teammates urging Sancho to apologise to the head coach, who – according to The Guardian – is prepared to sanction his sale in the new year unless the relationship is repaired.

The Evening Standard are reporting that Juventus and former club Borussia Dortmund have contacted Sancho’s representatives to discuss the conditions of a potential deal.

Sancho signed for Manchester United from Dortmund for a fee of £72.9m in 2021, but has failed to live up to expectations since his arrival into the Premier League.
