Crystal Palace hope to end leaders Tottenham’s unbeaten start to the Premier League season as they face off at Selhurst Park on Friday night.
The Eagles are looking to bounce back from a 4-0 defeat to Newcastle at St James’ Park last time out, whilst leaders Spurs look for their fourth successive league win.

Roy Hodgson’s men have had an inconsistent start to the Premier League camapign, but sit comfortably in 11th. Palace beat Manchester United at Old Trafford late last month, but managed just three shots on target in their humiliating defeat at St James’ Park last weekend.

The Eagles have lacked firepower in the final third, only Bournemouth (6) have scored fewer than their seven league goals, and have netted only once in their last five games in all competitions.
The South London outfit are in somewhat of an injury crisis, with key players Michael Olise, who managed 10 assists last campaign, and Eberechi Eze, who scored 10, both ruled out.
In between the sticks, summer signing Dean Henderson’s thigh problem has meant he is yet to take the field for the Eagles. Veteran defender James Tomkins is ruled out, as is Jeffrey Schlupp who has a hamstring problem.

Ange Postecoglou’s new look Spurs side sit top of the Premier League, two points clear of Manchester City and Arsenal, and are one of two unbeaten sides in this year’s competition.
Successful summer signings all over the field have helped the Lilywhites to three consecutive league wins over Fulham, Luton and Liverpool.
Guglielmo Vicario has kept two clean sheets on the bounce and he’s been helped by defenders Micky van de Ven and Destiny Udogie, who have made successful introductions into the side. Each made their international debuts this month, for the Netherlands and Italy respectively, and Van de Ven scored the only goal in a 1-0 win over Luton.

Attacking midfielder James Maddison has provided Spurs with a creative spark in the final third. Only Pedro Neto and Kieran Trippier (6) have more assists than the former Leicester man’s five and his goal against Fulham wrapped up the three points last time out.
Spurs will welcome back Yves Bissouma as he returns to the squad following a suspension, but Manor Solomon, Rodrigo Bentancur and Ivan Perisic remain out long term.

At the back end of last season, both clubs were adjusting to lives with new men in the dugout. Antonio Conte’s Tottenham departure saw former midfielder Ryan Mason take interim charge of the north London side, and Roy Hodgson had recently returned to Selhurst Park.
Both captains from the fixture would leave their respective clubs in the summer, with Wilfred Zaha departing Palace for Turkish outfit Galatasaray and Harry Kane leaving Spurs for German giants Bayern Munich.
Kane would score the only goal, a header past Sam Johnstone which made the Spurs legend the second highest scorer in Premier League history as his 209th strike took him past Wayne Rooney in the all-time rankings.
It was Spurs’ first win in four games and a first for interim boss Mason. Hodgson suffered his second defeat in seven fixtures after retuning to management at Palace, aged 75.
