Following their midweek triumph in Seville, Mikel Arteta’s men will be in full confidence ahead of the weekend.
As the Gunners welcome Sheffield United to the Emirates, Arsenal fans will be hoping that the squad will be in full strength, as they look to keep pace with North London rivals Tottenham.
Arsenal injury news ahead of Sheffield United clash:
Gabriel Jesus
Gabriel Jesus put in a stellar performance midweek, scoring a beautiful curling effort, whilst providing the assist for Gabriel Martinelli’s opener.
With his 18th goal contribution in 17 Champions League games, the striker suffered a stroke of misfortune resulting in his immediate substitution.
Commenting on the injury in his pre-match press conference, Arteta said: “For Gabriel Jesus, the scans show there’s muscle injury and we might lose him for a few weeks again.
“With Gabi I cannot give you any time frame because he always surprises us.
“He felt something there, it was a really awkward action. It’s true that he had quite a lot of load in those games playing with the national team and with us which he hasn’t done in a long, long time.
“That’s really bad news for us.”

Thomas Partey
After returning from a previous injury two games ago, Thomas Partey missed another game midweek through a suspected muscle injury.
Speaking on the issue in his pre-match press conference, Arteta said: “He’s got a muscle injury and we expect him to be out for a few weeks. We don’t know the extent of it, he has more scans today. He got (it) in training with the last kick of the ball.
“We decided not to load him in Chelsea and play him in Seville, and then it happened in training.
“So, sometimes it’s difficult. We try to prevent it. If he had got injured against Chelsea or against City you would have said we rushed him.
“And then we don’t and he gets injured. It happens. That’s football.”
