Liverpool progressed to the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday, beating out Bournemouth, and take on Luton Town this weekend.
With Curtis Jones returning from his three-match suspension, which he received for a controversial dismissal against Tottenham, the Reds have almost a full squad as they make the trip down to Kenilworth Road.
However, there are still a few injuries, as well as the current situation with Luis Diaz’s father.

Luis Díaz
Currently, the situation with the kidnapping of Luis Diaz’s father is still ongoing, and is rightfully the main priority for the Colombian, who has missed the victories over Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth.
Although Liverpool will miss the winger, Jurgen Klopp has understood Diaz’s need to put family first, and all in football will be hoping the situation comes to a positive culmination soon.
Speaking on the matter in his pre-match press conference, Klopp said: “We have to see how he is, and go from there.
“Anything that gives us a little bit of hope is good, we are waiting for good news. It’s all about him, if he makes himself available or not.”
The Liverpool manager has also confirmed that Diaz is back in training, and is physically fit to play.

There is still no further development in the recoveries of the Spanish pair, with both still out of action for this weekend’s clash.
An exact timeline is not yet available to the public, with the club careful not to further the pair’s absence, with their current spells on the sideline due to the aggravation of previous problems.
In his pre-match press conference, Klopp said: “With Stefan it is one of these things. His talent and quality is incredible, what a player. But his body is not there yet.
“We have to wait until that is all fine and then Liverpool FC has a wonderful player to use, but there is absolutely no time we can put on that and we will not.
“With Thiago it is slightly different, it’s an ongoing thing we expect him to be back. At the start of the new year is probably a realistic thing we can try and I can’t wait to have him back to be honest.”

Andy Robertson
The Scotsman underwent successful surgery to his shoulder last week, following an injury he suffered whist on international duty, with the left-back now in rehab.
Deputy full-back Kostas Tsimikas is filling in currently, but Klopp will be hoping that a speedy return awaits Robertson.
