West Ham winger Jarrod Bowen has been firing on all fronts this campaign, continuing his form on from last season.
The England international has nine goal contributions in 13 appearances so far this year and earned an England recall last month.
David Moyes has been full of praise for his star man, discussing Bowen in his pre-match press conference this afternoon ahead of this weekend’s trip to Brentford.
“Jarrod has made a really good start to the season. He’s consistent and he’s getting goals.”

The Scotsman went on to make a further, more unique comment, stating that he was fond of the way Bowen had climbed himself up through the football pyramid, to end up where he is today.
“The length of his new contract shows what we think of him. I like Jarrod’s journey from the lower leagues.
“It’s happening less and less in football nowadays. From him to go from Hereford to Hull to West Ham, and become an England international, says a lot about Jarrod.”
The Hammers will be making the trip across London to face Brentford this weekend. Although influential at the London Stadium, Bowen has been crucial on the road also, scoring in all five of West Ham’s Premier League away games this season.

Bowen could become the first player to score in his side’s first six away games in a Premier League campaign, while he would also be the first West Ham player to score in six straight away appearances.
West Ham will be looking to build on the momentum of a midweek Carabao Cup win against Arsenal, when the Irons face Brentford on Saturday.
However, The Hammers have a poor recent record against The Bees, who have won all four of their Premier League games against West Ham, scoring twice in each match and keeping three clean sheets.
Ahead of the clash, Moyes was full of praise for the opposition: “They’ve done remarkably well. They’ve got really talented footballers and they’ve possibly gone under the radar a bit. They’re really good.”
