Juventus are considering a trio of Premier League midfielders as the Italian side look to make additions in the January transfer window.
Juventus want to sign a central midfielder in the winter and are considering moves for a number of Premier League options. Massimiliano Allegri’s side have long been linked with Arsenal’s Thomas Partey and Foot Mercato are reporting that Juventus retain interest in the 30-year-old.
Partey has made just three Premier League starts this season after struggling with fitness issues and has been used as an auxiliary right-back since the arrival of Declan Rice from West Ham last summer.
Arsenal are interested in signing a midfielder in January and are admirers of Aston Villa’s Douglas Luiz, an arrival that could pave the way for Partey to leave the Emirates.
Juventus are also understood to be considering moves for Manchester City’s Kalvin Phillips and Tottenham’s Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, with each out of favour at club level.
Phillips has started just two Premier League games since his £45m move to Manchester City from Leeds in 2022 and is expected to leave in the upcoming transfer window, as he looks to assure his place in the England squad for Euro 2024.
Hojbjerg has also struggled for a regular role at Spurs this season, following the arrival of Ange Postecoglou as manager. The Dane has started just twice in the league, though the north Londoners could be reluctant to lose the 28-year-old amid their growing injury list.
