The fixtures are coming thick and fast over the festive period and Fantasy Premier League managers will need to keep a close eye on the fitness and availability of their squads.
With a record rate of cards being shown this year, there’s an increase in player suspensions and a number of popular FPL assets are nearing a ban. If any of these players are cautioned in Gameweek 18, they will miss the following fixtures.
Among the group includes Cole Palmer, who has returned three double-digit hauls for Chelsea so far this season. Hwang Hee-chan – the highest-scoring midfielder under £6m – Raheem Sterling, and Darwin Nunez are also nearing suspensions. As is Kaoru Mitoma, currently owned by 21.5% of all FPL managers.
