Fulham ‘hope’ star player will stay despite Liverpool and AC Milan interest

Fulham boss Marco Silva says he “would love to keep” Tosin Adarabioyo at the club amid reports linking him with Liverpool and AC Milan.

The centre-back has impressed in the Cottager’s defence this season, but his contract expires in the summer, meaning he can leave in the summer transfer window for free.

The Cottagers are “preparing a new contract offer”, according to the Mail, which could see him become one of the best paid players at the club if he accepts.

“I would love to keep him,” Silva said in his weekly press conference. “We have a few players towards end of their contracts: Tosin, Bobby Decordova-Reid, Kenny Tete. We would like to keep them as they are important for us. Part of the furniture.

“We have been trying to renew with Tosin. The club have been speaking with his agent. Let’s hope we can hear some news in the coming weeks, but from me I would like to keep him at the football club.”

Adarabioyo has made 126 appearances in all competitions since joining Fulham from Manchester City for a transfer fee of £2 million in 2020.
