Vlahovic addresses transfer rumours amid Premier League interest

Dusan Vlahovic has commented on his future as reports link him with a transfer to the Premier League.

The Serbian striker has long been linked with a move to Arsenal, going back to his days at Fiorentina.

But the 24-year-old chose to join Juventus instead, signing a four-and-a-half year contract with the Old Lady for a transfer fee of €70 million (plus €10m in add-ons) in January 2022.

The move was not an immediate success, with Vlahovic scoring 23 goals in his first season-and-a-half in Turin, but he has found the net 17 times in 31 appearances in all competitions this term.

With just two years left on his deal, speculation is mounting about a potential move abroad this summer, with Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain also linked with a move.

Vlahovic addressed those rumours directly in an interview this week, affirming his focus on performing for Juventus.

“I’m under contract at Juventus for two more years, I am very happy here. I want to win some important trophies at Juventus,” he told French outlet L’Équipé (via Fabrizio Romano).

“PSG or Chelsea? I heard the rumours but I was not even interested in those stories.”
