Arsenal ‘pushing’ to beat Chelsea and Man Utd to €65m transfer

Arsenal are intent on beating Premier League rivals Chelsea and Manchester United to the signing of Benjamin Sesko in the summer transfer window.

Recent reports have tentatively linked the Gunners with a move the Slovenian striker, but are now said to be “pushing” hard for his signature, according to Sky Sports Germany.

Sesko is believed to a release clause in his contract that can be activated by a €65 million (£55m) transfer bid before the end of June, but his club are said to “want him to stay”.

Man United‘s interest in the player is “concrete”, having already “inquired” about the possibility of signing him this summer, while Chelsea are “monitoring” his situation.

It’s also claimed that “all parties involved want a decision before the Euros”. Slovenia will face England at Euro 2024 in Germany, as well as Denmark and Serbia.
