Kylian Mbappe has finally completed his move to Real Madrid, moving from PSG on a free transfer.
The France striker took to social media after Los Blancos announced the deal on X, formerly known as Twitter, calling it a “dream come true”.
The 25-year-old has signed a five-year deal at the Bernabeu and will reportedly receive a €150 million signing-on fee.
Mbappe joins Real Madrid as a free agent after his contract with PSG expired. There was an option for an additional year, but only the player had the ability to trigger the extension.
A dream come true, so happy and proud to join the club of my dreams, Real Madrid,” Mbappe tweeted.
“Nobody can understand how excited I am right now. Can’t wait to see you, Madridistas, and thanks for your unbelievable support. ¡Hala Madrid!”
Mbappe will officially become a Real Madrid player when his contract runs out on June 30. The former Monaco forward scored a club record 256 goals during his seven years at PSG.
