Arsenal are braced for interest from Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain in William Saliba this summer.
The France international has emerged as one of the most outstanding young centre-backs in Europe with the Gunners and has been placed high on the wish-list at Real Madrid and PSG.
Saliba broke into the Arsenal team in 2022-23 after loan spells at Saint-Etienne, Nice and Marseille and was named in the Premier League Team of the Season.
Last season, he became the first Arsenal player to play every minute (3,420) of a season for the club in the Premier League era as the North Londoners secured a second successive runners-up finish.
The 23-year-old’s excellent partnership with Gabriel Maghalaes saw Arsenal record the best defensive record in the Premier League last season and Caught Offside are reporting that Real Madrid and PSG are prepared to test Arsenal’s resolve with bids.
However, Arsenal will rebuff any approaches for the player, who signed a new four-year contract with the Gunners last summer. There is no release clause in his contract.
Real Madrid and PSG are also among the clubs chasing a deal to sign Lille teenager Leny Yoro, alongside Manchester United and Liverpool. The 18-year-old was named in the Ligue 1 Team of the Season for 2023-24 after a breakthrough campaign.
