Joshua Kimmich has possibilities to move to the Premier League this summer as the midfielder nears an exit from Bayern Munich.
Kimmich has entered the final season of his contract at Bayern Munich and is edging closer to a departure from the Bundesliga side. The 29-year-old is not in talks to extend his deal in Bavaria and a host of Europe’s top clubs are monitoring his situation closely.
Paris Saint-Germain are among the clubs keen on signing Kimmich, while Fabrizio Romano has revealed that there are ‘possibilities’ for the German to move to the Premier League.
Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City have been named as suitors for the midfielder, with City boss Pep Guardiola having been responsible for Kimmich’s signing during his time at Bayern Munich.
Kimmich arrived from RB Leipzig for a fee of €7m and impressed in multiple roles under Guardiola, including at right-back and in central defence.
Kimmich is currently with Germany at Euro 2024 and talks over his future will not commence until the conclusion of the host nation’s participation at the tournament. Germany face Spain in the quarter-finals this evening.
The midfielder has won eight Bundesliga titles and the Champions League among his honours during a decorated career at the Allianz Arena, and has been included in the Bundesliga Team of the Season on five occasions.
