Chelsea will consider the sale of Marc Cucurella this summer if the club receive a ‘big proposal’.
Cucurella has caught the eye during Spain’s run to the final of Euro 2024 with the left-back emerging as a fan favourite for his all-action performances.
Just three players have won more tackles than Cucurella at the tournament, who has built on a strong end to the season at Chelsea with an impressive summer for the national team.
Despite his performances, Chelsea would consider a sale. Cucurella initially struggled after his £62m move to West London from Brighton in 2022 and there was interest in his services from clubs including Manchester United last summer.
His strong tournament for Spain has led to speculation of approach from La Liga’s top teams and Fabrizio Romano has said both club and player would consider their options if a suitable offer arrives.
“In case the club decide to sell him, Cucurella would consider his options,” Romano told his CaughtOffside Briefing.
“It’s really quiet now, there are no talks, but for example clubs appeared at the end of the summer one year ago.
“Chelsea are happy with Cucurella but with big proposals, everything could be open for Cucurella or… Ben Chilwell.”
