West Ham are leading the race to sign Reiss Nelson this summer with the winger keen to quit Arsenal.
Nelson turned down interest from other clubs to sign a new long-term deal at Arsenal last summer but struggled to break into Mikel Arteta’s plans last season.
The 24-year-old made just one start in the Premier League and has informed the Gunners that he is keen to explore other opportunities.
West Ham are interested in a deal to sign Nelson as Julen Lopetegui looks to improve his squad. The Irons have allowed Said Benrahma to join Lyon on a permanent deal and Nelson, who is valued at around £25m, is viewed as a potential replacement.
talkSport are reporting that Crystal Palace will compete with their London rivals for the winger, however, as the Eagles seek a replacement for Michael Olise following his £60m transfer to Bayern Munich.
Brighton have also expressed previous interest in signing Nelson, who will seek assurances over his role before making a decision on his future.
Arsenal have also received interest from Premier League rivals for Emile Smith Rowe. The Gunners have rejected opening bids of around £30m from Fulham and Crystal Palace.
