Manchester United are in ‘advanced’ talks with West Ham over the sale of Aaron Wan-Bissaka to the London side.
Wan-Bissaka has struggled to convince since a £45m move to Manchester United from Crystal Palace in 2019 and is free to leave this summer after losing his place as first-choice to Diogo Dalot.
West Ham are keen on a deal to sign the 26-year-old and talkSPORT are reporting that negotiations are advancing over a potential £18m switch to the capital. The deal would see Wan-Bissaka return to London, having progressed through the ranks at Crystal Palace before his move to Old Trafford.
Wan-Bissaka’s exit would bring in funds for the Red Devils to continue their recruitment drive under Erik ten Hag this summer. United have signed Joshua Zirkzee in a £35m deal from Bologna, while Lille teenager Leny Yoro is in the UK to finalise his £52m transfer from the Ligue 1 side.
United remain keen to bring in another centre-back in addition to Yoro and have held talks with Bayern Munich for Matthijs de Ligt. However, the £45m price tag has stalled a deal, with the Premier League side hopeful of raising further funds to complete the transfer.
Elsewhere, Mason Greenwood is nearing a £25.2m move to Marseille after undergoing a medical with the French side, while Fulham have expressed an interest in signing Scott McTominay. An opening offer has been turned down for the Scotland midfielder.
