Crystal Palace are preparing an offer for Emile Smith Rowe as the Eagles look to sign the out-of-favour Arsenal midfielder.
Arsenal have already rejected a bid from Fulham for Smith Rowe, who has struggled to command a place in Mikel Arteta’s team across the last two seasons.
Palace are bid admirers of the 23-year-old, who has won three caps for England and was nominated for the PFA Young Player of the Year award after a breakout 2021-22 season in North London.
Fitness and favour issues have limited Smith Rowe to 511 minutes of Premier League football across the last two seasons and Palace are prepared to offer the midfielder regular first-team football.
Olivier Glasner has strengthened his Palace squad with the additions Chadi Riad and Daichi Kamada and is now targeting Smith Rowe, with Fabrizio Romano reporting a bid from the South Londoners is imminent. Palace are keen to replace the creative threat of Michael Olise, who has joined Bayern Munich in a £60m deal.
The offer set to be submitted is undisclosed but Arsenal are believed to value Smith Rowe in excess of £30m.
Palace will also make a decision on Ryan Sessegnon, having taken the full-back on trial following his release at Tottenham.
