Brian Brobbey is keen to play in the Premier League next season as the forward looks to leave Ajax.
Brobbey has been on the radar of Premier League clubs after a career-best campaign in Amsterdam that saw the 22-year-old score 22 goals in all competitions.
The forward’s form earned him the Ajax Player of the Year award in 2023-24 and inclusion in the Netherlands squad for Euro 2024.
Arsenal and Manchester United have each been linked with Brobbey, who was a target for the latter before their capture of compatriot Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna. There’s been further interest from English clubs this summer and Sky Germany are reporting that the Premier League is Brobbey’s destination of choice.
Ajax value the forward at around €30m (£25.2m) with AS Roma monitoring his situation, with the Italian side in search of a centre-forward after Romelu Lukaku’s return to Chelsea from a loan spell at the Stadio Olimpico.
Brobbey has scored 36 goals in 87 appearances for Ajax after returning to the Dutch side from an unsuccessful single season spell at RB Leipzig.
