Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has said he is loving his first few weeks at Chelsea and has been impressed by the ‘high level’ of the squad.
Dewsbury-Hall is a new arrival at Chelsea after joining from Leicester City in a £30m deal, having been an influential part of the Foxes’ promotion campaign in 2023-24.
The 25-year-old starred as part of Enzo Maresca’s Championship title-winning team and the Italian coach was keen to reunite with Dewsbury-Hall after his appointment in West London.
The midfielder admits knowing the staff has been a huge help as he settles in to an ‘exciting’ new chapter of his career at Stamford Bridge.
“It’s been amazing so far,” the midfielder told the club’s official website.
“I have really enjoyed the first few weeks. I’ve absolutely loved every day coming in, excited to work with everyone. Everyone is at such a high level, and the lads have been so welcoming so I can’t thank them enough.
“I’ve really got on with them. It’s helped that I knew quite a lot of them before, but it’s just nice to meet them properly and talk to them.
“They’re all top, and the staff are fantastic, so I’ve been absolutely over the moon with the way it’s gone in these weeks.
“Having a history with the staff has certainly helped. They’re all really top guys but also fantastic coaches who keep things professional. That was nice to see them again after a long summer off.
“It was a nice feeling to get in, it was a complicated and stressful time over the summer but once you’re in the door you feel happy and excited to go. That’s the way I’m feeling now.”
