Juventus in talks to sign Chelsea-linked forward

Juventus have made direct contact with the representatives of Borussia Dortmund forward Karim Adeyemi to discuss a potential move to Turin.

Thiago Motta’s rebuild of the Italian side continues to gather pace with Adeyemi the next name in the sights of Juventus, following deals for Douglas Luiz, Michele Di Gregorio, Juan Cabal and Khéphren Thuram.



 

Adeyemi has been linked with leaving the Champions League finalists with Chelsea among the clubs to have monitored his situation at the Westfalenstadion.

The 22-year-old started just 10 league games for Dortmund last season, scoring three goals, as he struggled for fitness and favour.

His disappointing campaign saw Adeyemi, who has scored once in four caps for Germany, omitted from the host nation’s squad for Euro 2024. However, the German remains a highly-rated talent and his pace and ability to operate across the forward line appeal to Juventus and Chelsea.



 

The former are yet to open direct dialogue with Dortmund to discuss a deal but Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Juventus have presented a contract proposal to Adeyemi.
